I wanted to share some important info about MCP.
Pectin is a natural substance found in cell walls of most plants and specially concentrated in peels and pulp of citrus foods like lemons, limes, oranges, grape fruits, plums, apples.i have gathered my info from several reliable sources like life extension.org,dreliaz.org and so on.

People have known about gelling properties of some fruits as they are used in making jams, jellies.
It acts as a beneficial soluble fiber.
Researches have tried to alter pectin to create a food substance that would let body benefit of its good properties.pH and temperature modifications have been used to break down long chain polysaccharides into shorter unbranched lengths of soluble molecules that easily dissolve in water.
This MCPmis rich in galactose resodues and easily processed by digestive system and absorbed.
MCP had been useful in prevention and treatment of metastatic cancer like melanoma, breast cancer and metastatic prostate cancer?
It inhibits angiogenesis and metastasis.
Galactose binding lectins or galectins .galectins have been thought to be involved in spread of cancer.
MCP acts as galectin3 antagonist.
MCP stabilizes disease progression and lengthens psa doubling times.
It is also a safe nontoxic way of removing toxic or cheating toxic materials
